The ‘Dutch Courage’, Genever or Jenever or Dutch Gin or Holland Gin, call it however you like, the drink is a personality that can’t be ignored.
Believed to have started in 13th CE in Belgium, it has gone through a troubled past, till as early as 1985.
Now, the sun is shining over it with no dark clouds in sight.
Is it a white spirit with a shadow of Whisky? Or is it a dark spirit with hues of Gin in it?
